LOWER BARN AND FIELDER’S COTTAGE, CHRIST’S HOSPITAL, HORSHAM RH13 0NB

The project involved the replacement of a disused dwelling house with a similar scale high performing dwelling. In addition to the house and running concurrently was the conversion of a disused barn which required a considerate approach to the repairs of the timber frame and existing stone walling.

THE STABLES, 24 WILBURY GROVE, HOVE BN3 3JQ

Built in the mid-1880s, The Stables is nestled within a historic mews which was used to service the grand houses of Hove. Formerly a Victorian Riding Stables, the property has now been converted into four apartments and a ground floor with two offices, maintaining the original features and integrity of the building.

HIGHLY COMMENDED

SUNTE PARK, GANDER GREEN, HAYWARDS HEATH RH16 1RZ

The site sits within the ground of Sunte House, which is a Grade II* listed building. For many years, the site had been closed off from the public, the scheme restored access and opened to the public a large accessible green. The development encloses the public realm in a horseshoe reflecting typical Sussex vernacular architecture.
