33 FITTLEWORTH COMMUNITY SHOP, CAFÉ AND POST OFFICE SCHOOL LANE, FITTLEWORTH RH20 1JB
In 2017 villagers raised £410K to establish a new community shop and playground. The adjacent public buildings are typical 1960/70’s style but the new shop is sympathetic to its wooded rural village location. The materials used include face brick plinth, locally sourced timber feather-edge boarding, oak framing and slate roof.
